Is the organizer of the Copa del mar FUTSAL TOURNAMENTS and also the

coordinator of the 4th COPA DEL MAR.

After the difficulties in Greece we

decided not to work with local assistants

anymore.

Still we’re humans and so have our limits

of what we can arrange or what we can

serve.

STAY IN ITALY

WHERE DO WE STAY

We stay in PINARELLA which is a part

of the town of CERVIA and in the area

of MILANO MARITTIMO. The area got

that name because of the fact that many

people from the Milano area love that

part of the coastline to spent their long

weekends & holidays.

PINARELLA got is name because the

place is filled with pine trees (Pina).

THE TOURNAMENT HOTELS

This year we choose to work with 2 nice

3* neighboring hotels.

We know the managements of the

hotels LIVERPOOL and BASSETTI hotels

for 12 years and so we’re very sure that

you’ll enjoy your stay in these hotels.

LIVERPOOL is the smallest and shall be

the base of the organizers and referees.

BASSETTI has more rooms available and

so has bigger accommodation.

The hotels have all needed comfort to

let you enjoy yourself after some sport.

And yes, both hotels have nice

swimming pools!

Both hotels are based in a street

surrounded with shady pine trees. In a

5 minute walk you’re on the beautiful

white sandy beach to enjoy the cool

water of the Adriatic Sea.

The VILLA DEL MARE is a 4* hotel

which is managed by the same family of

LIVERPOOL.

It’s located straight on the Lungo Mare,

the big street which lines the beach.

Entrances of the hotels are only 100m

away from each other, so a quick visit is

easily made to your friends in the hotel

next door.

FOOD & DRINKS what is

included?

The Italians call this system “all

inclusive” but as you notice we’ve

explained our package very well on

the back of your brochure. It’s a HALF

BOARD system.

This system includes: breakfast & dinner

Drinks during the day and evening are

optional.

But during your dinner you have your

drinks included: soda drinks like coca

cola, Fanta etc. , waters & wine of nice

quality.

INSURRANCE

All participating teams must have a sport

insurance for international sport events,

which cover any physical damage. We

advise teams to bring some useful

materials with them, like muscle sprays,

ice bags, bandages, etc. We help were

we can.

The organizers are NOT responsible for

physical injuries on and off the field.

RULES

Please find them in attachment.

We play with a mix of the Belgium

indoor soccer and FIFUSA. Read the

rules very well.

The rules are not open for discussion.

They’re our rules for 20 years.

Everybody play with the same rules, so

no one is disadvantaged.

REFS

Our referees are certified official

referees, members of the Belgium Futsal

Federation.

Their decisions are “the law” and not to

be disputed.

As a police man you can’t forget that

it’s hard to make ‘decisions at the split

second’ ! Give them the same respect

you give your fellow police officers.

FAIR PLAY

No need to explain this !

It’s the most important item during the

event.

We try to create a perfect mixture of

sportive behavior and friendship.

Help us please and enjoy the result.

Teams who have problems to behave on

the field shall be disciplined with yellow,

2 min, ... (see rules)

The rules of conduct shall also count

in the hotel, at activities etc. Since we

don’t like to be accounted for other

people’s behavior, we polite explain you

that in case of serious misbehavior (and

we shall decide what is that) we can and

shall expel you from the tournament

and if needed from the hotel premises.

Be assured we shall do it without

hesitation should you doubt this item.

LANGUAGE

The National language is Italian.

Some of Italian people speak English. In

the hotel everybody speaks English.

Because we’ve a lot of represented

nations in our event, we use a basic

tournament language, which is English.

Program book and any other

conversations will be done in that

language.

Our cooperators shall be at your service

to help and of course you can ask

things which are not connected with the

event at the ‘welcome desk’ in the hotel

entrance.

TRANSLATOR

Any logic says, that your team should

have minimal 1 person who speaks and

understand the English language.

MEET AND GREETS @

LIVERPOOL HOTEL BAR

On arrival day 22/05, we open the

tournament with a small party.

The hotel manager & the organizers

offer you a FREE drink.

We shall welcome you, give some info

and present the participating teams

and countries. No uniforms, no long

speeches, just a informal party for

friends.

We meet casual and so don’t bring a

police uniform please.

On 23 & 24 May we meet after dinner

at the bar for a “Meet & Greet” with an

HAPPY HOUR time! At the bar, terrace

and swimming pool area, we have a

drink, talk and relax.

We arrange good music at the bar.

After that you can ask some more info

concerning some important rules of

the tournament and general points

concerning the hotel.

DISCO

Cervia has some disco’s bdut in the

MILANO MARITTIMA area are more of

these.

WEATHER IN CERVIA

That is something nobody really can

predict!

But the temperatures have a max. of

20-26° and a min. of 15-17°.

A good sun protection is needed.

So don’t forget to bring a sweater for

the evenings, because of the spring

winds it can be useful. Let us all hope we

don’t need anything of this.
